Focus on Multiple Sclerosis – developing services for patients and families

People living with Multiple Sclerosis and their families or carers were asked by North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to share their experiences of local services.

We are holding a follow up “Focus on MS” event on Thursday March 10 to update on the development of local MS services in response to what patients and carers have told us.

This event, from 1–4pm, at Cleethorpes Memorial Hall, Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes, DN35 8AH is for patients and/or family and carers with a specific interest in Multiple Sclerosis.

There will be a range of presentations, discussions and information stands with health and care professionals from:

• North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group
• Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust
• MS Society
• MS Trust
• Carers Support
• Healthwatch
• Hull & East Yorkshire NHS Foundation Trust MS Nurse Specialist Service

“We really hope that local people living with the condition and/or their family or carers will be able to take part as their input is of tremendous value to developing future services,” explained Donna Redhead, Service Manager for MS with North East Lincolnshire CCG. “If people have any transport difficulties that would prevent them from taking part, please let us know as we may be able to help.”

Please let us know if you want to attend by emailing nelccg.accord@nhs.net or calling 0300 3000 563 no later than Friday 19th February 2016 and please tell us if you have any particular requirements such as information in large print.
