Free Perinatal Mental Health Training
Published on Oct 11, 2017
Here in North East Lincolnshire we would like to improve the services and support available for families experiencing perinatal mental health difficulties.
Perinatal mental health problems are illnesses that are specifically linked to pregnancy, birth and up to a year afterwards. This includes conditions such as depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and psychosis and they are known to affect at least 10% of mums, with dads also being affected.
We are offering training on perinatal mental health and these training sessions are free and open to anyone who works with children and families. Tea and coffee will be available.
