Great response to the 2016 North East Lincolnshire Health and Social Care Awards

All the entries have now been received for the 2016 North East Lincolnshire Health and Social Care Awards. There was a great response and the team of community representatives has had the very difficult job of shortlisting from some fantastic submissions for these exciting awards. The shortlist is now complete and awards are on order for what will prove to be a memorable event celebrating the very best of health and social care in North East Lincolnshire.

Individuals and teams who are providing an exceptional level of care and proactively working to improve quality in the industry have been selected by a panel of judges as possible winners of the 12 categories.

The awards programme is hosted by North East Lincolnshire CCG.  Mark Webb, CCG Chair, said: “These awards celebrate the many achievements that individuals, staff and care organisations in North East Lincolnshire continue to deliver on a daily basis.”

“It offers healthcare professionals, volunteers and teams who strive every day to deliver a service that they are proud of, a chance to be recognised for their commitment and compassion.

“There are some great examples of the fantastic work being done across the area within the nominations and our judging panel said it was very hard to decide on a shortlist as the standard of entries was so high.”

Each category will have a winner and 2 runners up whose names will be revealed at a ceremony at the Humber Royal Hotel in Grimsby on Tuesday 12 April 2016, 2.30-4.30pm.
