North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is holding an event for all people living and working in a care home setting to come along and help design a community wide vision of supporting people to live well in our care home community by 2017.
The event, named My Home Life, takes places on:
Wednesday 3rd September, 9:30-14:30 at Centre4 (the old St Mary’s Catholic School), Wootton Road, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire, DN33 1HE and aims to capture the public’s contribution, support, encouragement and challenge, This event will be key to the future success of the vision.
The CCG is aiming to reflect and agree with the public on:
o The vision for care home living in 2017
o What needs to happen now
o Engagement to make change happen
o The CCG’s steps to accelerate our progress
Jeanette Logan, Older People Service Lead at the CCG said: “By the end of this highly participative meeting we want a shared vision of a positive future for care home living in 2017 and a shared action plan of what we all need to do together to get there.
“We particularly want to focus on ‘what can happen when we as a community work to improve experiences of those who live, work, visit and end our days in care homes in North East Lincolnshire’
“We are excited about working with you to improve services and listening to your experiences.”
Lunch will be provided from 13:00-13:45. There are only 60 places so we advise people to register quickly. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place or let the CCG know of any special dietary requirements. For more information please visit www.centre4.org.uk
