North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is pleased to announce the North East Lincolnshire’s Homecare Recruitment Fair drop-in event.
The event will take place on Thursday 5th November from 10.00am to 3.00pm at the Carers’ Support Centre, 1 Town Hall Square in Grimsby and the public are encouraged to drop-in at any time. The event will showcase the caring profession emphasising skills gained, training opportunities and career progression with a number of talks and demonstrations taking place throughout the day.
There are a number of job opportunities available across North East Lincolnshire and a single application form will be available to complete on the day which will give people access to all our local home care providers who have vacancies.
Jake Rollin, Assistant Director for Care and Independence within the CCG, commented: “We’re delighted to be hosting the Homecare Recruitment Fair. We are keen to encourage local people who have the right qualities to enter this profession and build a career. There will be a range of professionals available on the day to offer advice and insights into life in the caring profession so this is a great opportunity for anyone who has considered working in care to find out more”.
Representatives from the DWP and local training providers such as Franklin College and the Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education will be available to talk to on the day.
Cllr Jane Hyldon-King, deputy leader of North East Lincolnshire Council and portfolio holder for health, wellbeing and adult social care, said: “We are pleased to see our partners in the CCG working with our local providers in this way. We really want many more local people to see caring as a real career opportunity so we can continue to support more and more people to live fulfilled and independent lives.”
Any questions can be answered at the event but if you would like further information please contact Julie Jobling on 0300 3000 510.
