How are decisions made?
We are committed to involving local people in our decision-making and our unique structure makes sure they’re involved every step of the way.
The future of health and social care services is agreed through teams made up of three people: a clinician who specialises in the field, a service lead from the CCG and volunteer from the Community Forum – a Community Lead, which represents the voice of public and patients.
These groups are known within the CCG as triangles. Together these three voices have an equal influence during decision-making and have already helped us to make improvements to local services.
Community Leads are fully involved in the work of the CCG across our commissioning service areas, statutory and non-statutory committees and working groups.
