Quality

Quality

Quality is at the heart of everything we do. It is embedded in the day-to-day management of the CCG, along with innovation and consistency.

We have a dedicated team that makes sure the quality agenda is implemented through our contracting and governance arrangements, as well as the services our providers deliver to patients.

We have a duty as commissioners to make sure that the services we invest in are high quality. Our dedicated quality lead works across the CCG to ensure that we only invest in services that meet our standards of care.

There are a number of ways we are achieve this, including regular quality visits to local services to see first-hand the experiences of patients and families, and sharing best practice in a dedicated nursing forum.

Not only are we working towards improving quality through the national Commissioning for Quality and Innovation (CQUIN) targets but we’re committed to making sure that local people have a good patient experience every time they need care.

Our providers will be subject to the Duty of Candour which requires all health and adult social care providers to be open when things go wrong. This is a legal requirement that has been introduced since the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust Public Inquiry (the Francis Inquiry).

If you have any feedback about the quality of care you have received in North East Lincolnshire please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).

PALS  is a free, confidential service available to offer help, advice and information on NHS services and is designed to help patients, carers and staff get the best out of what the NHS has to offer.

Contact PALS on 0300 3000 500.
