Service Name: NHS North East Lincs Talking Therapies                                                               

Description of Service:

NHS North East Lincs Talking Therapies offers support to the 2 in 5 people aged 16 and above who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues such as stress, anxiety and depression. We encourage self-referral, offer quick access and support to maintain positive mental health and well-being through a range of NICE approved evidence based treatments, also known as talking therapies, chosen by you.

Talking Therapies can help with the following:

  • Mild to moderate anxiety/depression
  • Anxiety/depression associated with a long term condition such as Fibromyalgia, COPD, Chronic Heart Disease, Diabetes, Mild Stroke, Mild Epilepsy or Medically unexplained symptoms
  • Low mood
  • Panic attacks
  • Sleeping problems
  • Feeling stressed
  • Loss and change in personal circumstances
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  • Support looking after someone who is depressed or has anxiety

Unfortunately they cannot help with:

  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Serious mental illness
  • Medication review requests
  • Problems with drugs and alcohol
  • Service user saying ‘‘I’m hearing voices’’
  • Anyone under the age of 16

  • Self-referral online via the Navigo website

Appointments are available 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday plus Tuesday & Wednesday, limited appointments between 5pm - 8pm.

Service users can expect to have an assessment within 10 days. Flexibility regarding the location of appointment will help to ensure you are seen by the service as soon as possible.
