Caring for our Communities 2022

Find out about local health and care services - join us at our free virtual event on 26th January, 5pm- 6.15pm.

Since the start of the pandemic, people have become increasingly aware of their health and there’s never been a better time to talk about it.

The CCG are hosting another virtual event using Zoom in January to talk about all thing’s health. ‘Caring for our Communities 2022’ hosted by Mark Webb, Chair of North East Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group, aims to raise awareness about different conditions and provide information about some of the local services there to help people manage their health.

“In 2019, we hosted a marketplace event where members of our community were able to find out lots of information from a variety of organisations face to face. Sadly, due to Covid we are not able to host another one of those public events at the moment, so we thought we would bring it to you virtually”, explained Mark Webb.

“We have a fantastic line up of speakers and hope you can join us for what will be a very informative session”.

The session includes information from local pharmacies about the array of services they offer which can be easily accessed on the high street. There will also be an update on North East Lincolnshire’s Single Point of Access (SPA 256256) and how it is working alongside the recently launched connectNEL service.

More speakers will be announced in the coming weeks! As always, there will be an opportunity for you to get involved through our question-and-answer session.

You can book your place by emailing nelccg.accord@nhs.net or calling the CCG Engagement Team on 0300 3000 567. If you don’t get chance to join us on the night, we will be publishing a full recording of the event on the Accord website.

In September, Accord members, the public and representatives of local organisations came together using Zoom for our annual ‘Getting Better Together’ event. The packed session included an update from CCG Chief Executive Rob Walsh on what the national reorganisation of the NHS means for people in North East Lincolnshire, and Helen Kenyon, CCG Chief Operating Officer who discussed the development of integrated care arrangements between organisations based here in North East Lincolnshire.
