We are looking at how adult social care day services (this includes Day Centres) are offered in North East Lincolnshire. We want to know what is good, what you would change, and what you would like to see in the future.

Day opportunities (Day Services) take place in the community, they offer people the chance to meet up with others and make friends, take on volunteering roles, access training, learn skills and use leisure and sports facilities.

It is important that people have a choice and can access different support and activities in the community, not just in day services.

We want to hear from people who use these services, those who work in the care services and those who care for service users.  This is your opportunity to tell us what you think, what works well for you and what doesn’t and how the services support you.

Bev Compton, Director of Adult Services explained, “We know that people who use our day centres and other activities on offer value the service, and so do their carers. A high proportion of people using the service have been doing so for a long time and whilst that may be appropriate for some people, it may not be for others as everyone’s needs are very different. This review of services is essential to ensure that those differing needs are being met and we are doing the best we can for those that use day services.” 

You can complete our survey in several ways; by online (over the Internet), on paper or over the telephone with someone going through the questions with you. 

Responses are anonymous and the closing date is Tuesday, 4th January 2022.  You can also call us and discuss your experience over the phone, even if you don’t want to fill in the survey. Please see below for further details.

There are different surveys for people who use the services, people who care for (unpaid) someone who uses the services and people who are employed by the services (staff).
