Have your say - follow-up inspection of services at Grimsby Hospital

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England.  It monitors, inspects and regulates services to make sure they meet standards of quality and safety. It then publishes its findings, including performance ratings, to help people choose their care.

The CQC Northern Lincolnshire & Goole FT Inspection is a ‘Follow-Up’ which is focused on particular areas from our previous Inspection so there is no large scale public event this time.

Instead the CQC is interested in patients and families giving their experiences individually.

The areas focussed on will be:

• A&E,
• surgical care,
• medical care,
• critical care,
• outpatients,
• diagnostics,
• maternity services
• and governance (issues such as complaints or leadership).

However, if people have other important things to say about the Trust’s services they would still like to hear from them about these as well.

The CQC would like to hear from people who have used Trust services within the last year whether their experiences are good, bad or mixed. They can also say where they would like to see the Trust make improvements. These experiences are important as the Inspection Team will consider them when they are thinking about the areas and departments that they will Inspect.

They can share with us in the following ways:
