Investigation of complaints currently on hold

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, North East Lincolnshire CCG has paused the investigation of new and existing complaints. This enables clinical staff to focus on front line patient care and it also enables our complaints teams to provide vital support to NHS and Social Care Colleagues.

We will continue to review and acknowledge all new complaints and will act upon any concerns about patient safety or safeguarding. If we feel any of the issues could be progressed through our PALS service, that option will be offered, otherwise, we will not investigate the complaint or provide a formal response until further notice.

All complainants currently awaiting a response to their complaint will be notified that the investigation is on hold.

Our staff are working remotely, so if you need to contact the CCG about a complaint, please email where possible to NELCCG.askus@nhs.net.

We will resume our complaints service as soon as possible. In the meantime, we would like to thank you for your understanding of our current position in this unprecedented time and to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or upset this may cause.
