Talk to the new providers of Community Dermatology Services about their latest plans, Grimsby March 8th

On Wednesday 8th March, patients will have the chance to speak to new local Dermatology providers Virgin Care about their plans to develop the service over the next three years.

Pauline Bamgbala, service lead for planned care, will join representatives from Virgin Care as they share their plans to improve Community Dermatology Services by reducing waiting times and using technology for faster, accurate patient-centred diagnosis and treatment. Patients will have a chance to ask questions and share their views.

Virgin Care has been providing Dermatology services in neighbouring North Lincolnshire since 2012.

They will be taking part in NHS North East Lincolnshire CCG’s Way Forward event on March 8th, 12.45 – 4.30pm at the Humber Royal Hotel, Grimsby. The event will also will feature updates about the CCG’s plans and priorities for the coming year and find out about new ways of providing care through the North East Lincolnshire Accountable Care Partnership.

The Way Forward will feature discussion groups about medicines, self-care and prescriptions, thinking differently about how we use primary care services (such as GPs and practice nurses) and there will be the chance to meet Virgin Care, the new provider of community dermatology in North East Lincolnshire and ask questions about the service.

For people who are unable to attend during the day, there will be a ‘Bite-sized’ version of the event on March 15th from 6pm - 8pm at Centre 4, Wootton Road, Grimsby.

Please let us know if you would like to attend by sending an email to nelccg.accord@nhs.net  or ringing Janet Gaiger on 0300 3000 567.
