COVID vaccinations for social care workers

Our priority is the vaccination of our front-line social care workforce including local authority staff and providers of social care, to protect individuals in the community who have the highest risks from Covid-19 infection.

Vaccinations are being offered to all social care organisations in North East Lincolnshire and if you work in these organisations, you should have received a notification of your eligibility, and details of how to book your vaccination.

If you work in adult social care in these categories, you are eligible for your COVID-19 vaccination:

If you have not received a notification for your first dose of the vaccine, then please use the NHS Covid-19 Vaccination Booking Service and book an appointment online.

The national booking service will allow all eligible health and social care workers to self-refer themselves for a vaccine appointment.

Book your appointment on the system via the NHS website or over the phone by contacting 119 free of charge, 7am to 11pm seven days a week.

This will ensure that all frontline health and social care workers in England are able to receive their Covid-19 vaccine, should they wish to receive it.

Staff will need to self-declare they are a health or social care worker and be required to bring proof of employment to the appointment.

Further information about the vaccine, including its safety and effectiveness and how it provides the best available protection from Covid-19 is available on the following links:
