Have Your Say on the North East Lincolnshire Carers Strategy

Carers are twice as likely to suffer from ill health as non-carers. More than half of those who provide more substantial care have suffered physical ill health as a result of caring, and more than 70 percent of those caring round the clock have suffered mental ill health at some time. North East Lincolnshire is committed to ensuring unpaid carers are supported both in their caring role and to have a life outside of caring. And this is where we need your help.
North East Lincolnshire is updating its 3 year Carers Strategy, and we need your views on carer services. If you are a professional, please complete the professional survey. If you are an unpaid carer who also works, please contribute by completing the carers survey.
If you know a carer who cares for someone living in North East Lincolnshire (or registered to an NEL GP), please share this survey with them and encourage them to complete it.
